Jim Casey and the Smoke Ring are celebrating 45 years as part of the Sam Phillips/Sun Records family and legacy, by presenting NEBRASKA ROCKS: THE SOUNDS OF MEMPHIS. A tribute to Sun, Stax,Hi,Volt,and all the great record labels that gave us Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave,Carl Perkins, The Boxtops, Booker T. & the Mgs, Sam the Sham and more. From songs like Well That’s All Right Mama, to Let’s Stay Together and Mustang Sally, as well as the Smoke Ring’s Memphis hit, “No Not Much”. Recorded at the Sam Phillips/Sun Studio in Memphis, this night will be dedicated to the sounds and spirit of Memphis, the home of American rock n Roll.
